Half Rez, In Full Bloom
At its core, In Full Bloom is about the distance between losing your confidence and losing yourself. We follow a small light through seasons that mirror the creative life: momentum, friction, doubt, isolation, and the gradual return of possibility. The film does not treat winter as failure, or spring as a reward for simply enduring it. It is about learning that a difficult season is not the whole forecast. The spark is still there, even when it is harder to see.
A Room Full of People Who Get It
Half Rez is one of those rare industry events where networking rarely feels like networking. Creatives come together to meet new collaborators, reconnect with familiar faces, learn something new and leave inspired. That sense of community shaped our presentation. Rather than explain every frame, we used the film to open an honest conversation about creative confidence, uncertainty, career longevity and changing tools, leaving space for attendees to see their own experiences in the story. It was a reminder that ours is a small, strange, deeply specific industry, and there is real value in finding your people within it.

One Feeling, Many Workflows
The project started with a stack of ideas and a room full of people willing to build on one another’s instincts. From there, the work moved through Cinema 4D, Houdini, Procreate, After Effects, Blender, and Rive, with each tool helping solve a different part of the story. The real fun was in figuring out how those worlds could connect, and how we could connect more easily while making them. We shared techniques, learned new ones, and found that a few of the best ideas appeared somewhere between “Can you show me how you did that?” and “Wait, what if we tried this?” The film is a record of that collaboration, but so is the team we became while making it.

Find Your Season
We didn’t stop at the film. Using Rive, our motion and development teams built a custom interactive experience accessed through a QR code. Attendees could visit our website or take a quick quiz to discover their “season,” then download the corresponding artwork as a wallpaper. It gave us a chance to experiment with a new tool, bring our teams closer together and give the Half Rez crowd something extra to take home.
